This is just not okay:
I can’t get Kool and the Gang’s “Joanna” out of my head.
Yesterday it was Hall and Oates’s “Sarah.”
My addled brain is looping songs for women with polysyllabic names by really old bands with eponymous, conjuncted names.
What’s next? Peter, Paul, and Mary’s “Lucy”?

I had the following stuck in my head all of Friday.
I wanna put on mah mah mah mah mah boogie shoes…and boogie with you.
(That made me crazy, especially the word “boogie” but maybe that will be a refreshing change for you?)
