Small difference

21 September 2010

The difference between him and me:

He thinks it’s really funny to hide behind the door and call me into his room long after bedtime; and that it’s really sad when my entry hurts his foot.

It’s like the Smothers Brothers. Someone needs a yo-yo. You have a late night comedy routine!

That’ll learn him. Maybe next time he’ll mind his toes. ;)

Thank you jc, for reminding me of the Smothers Brothers – such a funny duo. Just like Nap and Peanut!

I wouldn’t regret stomping on toes that aren’t in bed, either.

LOL! Oh, to be a kid again! Amazing the small things we take pleasure in, and how in the passage of time, we enjoy others…Hope Butter is feeling better!

I think it’s really funny to hide behind my door and give him the fright of his life when he bounces through (as my siblings and I did to each other as kids)… but perhaps he’s a little young to see the funny side of that one just yet. Parenting for my own amusement…

    Jane,
I forgot just how dorky those two characters were. Tom reminds me of a walrus act at Sea World with the flipper pointing Yes I Can. All he needs is a bucket of fish.

You are so my favorite. I’m with Kitchy: toes that aren’t in bed are asking for stepping-upon.
